Carrie is a seasoned business executive with over twenty-five years of experience serving the consumer products, retail and private equity industries. She was named one of the industry’s top twenty-five consultants, and named one of the top three retail consultants in 2013 by Consulting Magazine. She specializes in helping boards and C-level executives accelerate value creation by setting robust growth agendas and aligning the organization for growth. She was the co-founder of two award-winning consulting firms Archstone Consulting and Griffin Strategic Advisors – both winners of the Seven Up and Coming Jewels by Consulting Magazine – and served as a senior partner with two global consulting firms: A.T. Kearney and The Cambridge Group. Clients have included Macy’s, Fisher Nuts (JBSS), Starbucks, Kraft, Clorox, Coca-Cola, Wrigley, Jockey Brands, Viking Range, among others.
Most recently Carrie served as President of AMG Strategic Advisors, a $15 million insights and marketing strategy division of Acosta Sales and Marketing, the leading broker in the consumer products industry, representing 60% of the #1 and #2 brands in the US. Managed a team of 40 employees overseeing all aspects of business development, sales, marketing, resource deployment, product development, and client management. Worked with leading CPG clients helping them accelerate growth and improve distribution. Published numerous articles on accelerating profitable growth in leading business journals including WWD, Retail News, Retail Weekly, HBS Blog, Fortune, CMO.com, etc. Previously she also served as CEO and Founder of Griffin Strategic Advisors, one of the fastest growing business advisory firms in the US. Managed a team of 7 full-time and 20 part-time resources.

Barbara has over 25 years of marketing and advertising experience positioning and building brands, defining brand foundations, capturing sustainable savings to fund brand growth, creating effective integrated marketing communication programs, and optimizing organizations for efficiency and effectiveness. Most recently, Ford led Ford Partners LLC, a marketing strategy consultancy that helps businesses accelerate profitable growth through insight-driven understanding of consumers/customers and brands. She was most recently SVP at AMG Strategic Advisors and Principal at Griffin Strategic Advisors – both growth strategy consultancies where Barbara had the lead role in the Marketing Strategy practice including project delivery, business development and external partner relations. Consulting clients have included a broad range of clients including Starbucks, John B Sanfilippo, Coca-Cola, Merck, World Kitchen, Jockey, Jarden Home Brands, LPGA, Mead Johnson, Monomoy Capital Partners, Redco Foods and Vosges Haut-Chocolat.
Previously, Ford led Marketing Services for SC Johnson, and prior to SC Johnson, Ford was Vice President, Global Advertising Resources and Marketing Training for Kraft Foods. Ford began her professional career in advertising in the Media Department at D’Arcy MacManus & Masius Advertising; then as Account Leader at DDB, where clients included Anheuser Busch, Campbell Soup, Clorox, General Mills, Hasbro, McDonald’s, Morton, and Ramada. Ford has also served as an independent consultant working with major multinational advertisers including Kraft General Foods, Citibank NA, and Ameritech.
Barbara has served as an Adjunct professor at Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Medill/Northwestern University and U Chicago Graham School. She most recently served as Lecturer International Business & Markets Program at Kellogg School of Management, and currently serves as a Ford Scholar, Kellogg School of Management.

Charlie has over 30 years of Global, Strategic, Operational, and Financial leadership experience with a record of success in helping organizations achieve sustainable profitable growth. He is a Partner with Phoenix who most recently served as CEO and President of The Testor Corporation. Prior to that, he was the COO of North American Wholesale Group of Blyth Inc, the CFO of Rand McNally Book Services, and the CFO and Comptroller of Rust-Oleum. In addition to success in industry, he has also successfully led engagements for clients in a consulting role as President of Process Solutions Inc.
Charlie has significant experience in strategy development and execution, alignment of strategy with process, business transformation, driving growth, and creating a culture of continuous improvement. His strengths and track record of proven success include business planning, brand management, customer intimacy, innovative new product development, improving margins, and supply chain optimization. His leadership background includes a balance of domestic/global, marketing/finance, B2B/B2C, Public/Private companies, acquisitions, divestitures, and process/people experience. Charlie has also served Boards in a number of capacities.

Annette has over 25 years of consulting experience. Her consulting work focused on developing strategic, functional and administrative solutions that drive growth, retention and cost savings for all types of organizations, with a particular emphasis on human resources, outsourcing and organizational design issues. Clients ranged from Fortune 500 companies to mid-market firms. Her experience includes senior-level positions in both the US and Europe, which included an 8-year expatriate assignment in Belgium and The Netherlands.
Annette’s past experience includes a position as a Certified Public Accountant. She has also taken leadership roles at several non-profit Boards, including The University of Chicago Cancer Research Foundation Women’s Board (where she was the 2015 Gala Co-Chair), ARZU Studio Hope (Corporate Secretary), and the Lake Forest Symphony (2014 Gala Co-Chair).
